Pack 218 is an active Cub Scout Pack with excellent year-round programing. We have a great leadership team of committed Den Leaders and parents who put a lot of time and energy into making our program exciting for the scouts. We are located in Shakopee, Minnesota and primarily serve students from Jackson and Sun Path elementary schools. The Pack meets once a month, typically on a Sunday evening. Our full-year Pack schedule can be found on our web site. Dens typically hold meetings 1-2 times during the month in addition to the Pack meeting. In addition to these activities, we also hold special events throughout the year including family camp, rocket derby, fishing, Pinewood Derby, Polar Cubs, Snow tubing, Pie in the face (from Popcorn Sales) and the Blue and Gold Banquet.

Pack 916 (Boys)

Cub Scout Pack 916 Boy Scouts of America Chartered by the Knights of Columbus In Cub Scouting, boys and their families have fun and adventure in a program that builds character and instills values. Cub Scouting embraces the values of citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility. These values come to boys in all parts of the Cub Scout program—all while they’re having a great time with their friends and families. Our Pack is an active family-oriented Cub Scout Pack. Parental participation in their boy’s scouting activities is highly encouraged and promoted.

Boys can join Cub Scouts at any age and is open to boys between grades kindergarten thru 5th. Pack 916 meets monthly during the school year and also participates in fun summer activities. Boys of the same age/grade level meet in smaller groups of 6-10 boys called Dens. Dens generally meet 1-2 times per month in addition to the Pack meeting mentioned above. The day and time varies depending on what the Den Leader and the families in the Den decide.

Pack 917 (Boys)

Pack 917 makes its home in Shakopee, Minnesota and is chartered by the Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne. The Pack serves as a “parent” organization to the Dens and provides direction, program support and maintenance of the budget. The Pack is led by the Pack Committee that consists of representatives from each Den, Cubmaster and other volunteer leaders. The Pack Committee Chairman leads these monthly meetings and we encourage parents to participate. Meetings can be found on the Pack calendar. The Pack Committee along with the Cubmaster leads the group in planning and organizing Pack programs. Packs are divided into Dens of six to ten boys. Dens are made up of boys in the same grade and age, so they can work together to earn the appropriate Rank. It is never too late to join Cub Scouts… If you have a boy who is in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade, it is never to late to register him for Cub Scouts! Please contact us for more information!
